I teach English literature at Gqeberha Academy in Gqeberha since 1985. Most days I teach Grade 11, and I learn every name in the first week.
Over the years I've had 1,720 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.

If you were in my Grade 11 class, you probably remember the long bus ride home.
