Mr. Khoury
37 years teaching religious studies in Cairo
- 🇪🇬 Cairo, Cairo, Egypt
- Westbrook Grammar School
- Since 1978
- English, Arabic
I came to teaching late, after working as a shop assistant, and 48 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Over the years I've had 1,200 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
More about Mr. Khoury
Teaching changed me more than I changed anyone, I think.

What gifts mean to Mr. Khoury: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
