Mr. Kessy
Art teacher at Nairobi Grammar School, Since 2007
- 🇰🇪 Nairobi, Nairobi, Kenya
- Nairobi Grammar School
- Since 2007
- English, Swahili, French
I came to teaching late, after working as a night-shift cleaner, and 19 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
I've coached the school's athletics team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Mr. Kessy
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

You taught me art in 2025 at Nairobi Grammar School. I still remember the surprise birthday cake!
