I taught music at Jimma Middle School in Jimma from 2003 to 2015. Most days I taught teenagers, and I always had a bag of oranges in my drawer.
My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
