Mr. Karunaratne

I came to teaching late, after working as a bank clerk, and nine years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Over the years I've had 230 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
More about Mr. Karunaratne
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the planetarium, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
What gifts mean to Mr. Karunaratne: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.

you taught me chemistry in 2024 at Dehiwala Middle School. I still remember the last day before the summer holidays.
