Mr. Kartika
Taught history at Jakarta Middle School

I taught history at Jakarta Middle School in Jakarta from 2011 to 2021. Most days I taught first-year students, and I played music while people worked.
Over the years I had 350 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
What gifts mean to Mr. Kartika: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
