Mr. Kariuki
38 years teaching environmental science in Embakasi
- 🇰🇪 Embakasi, Nairobi, Kenya
- Maple Ridge Academy
- Since 2003
- English, Swahili
I came to teaching late, after working as a farmhand, and 23 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
I've run the reading group after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I'm always reading two books at once.
Thank you for stopping by.
More about Mr. Kariuki
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Mr. Kariuki: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
