Mr. Kariuki
26 years teaching economics in Nairobi
- 🇰🇪 Nairobi, Nairobi, Kenya
- 2004 to 2019
- English
I taught economics at Mount Pleasant Public School in Nairobi from 2004 to 2019. Most days I taught Grade 6, and I never turned anyone away.
I coached the school's cross-country squad for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
More about Mr. Kariuki
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Mr. Kariuki: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.

You taught me economics in 2009 at Mount Pleasant Public School. I still remember the volcano experiment that got a bit out of hand. Greetings from Entebbe.
