Mr. Karim
Spanish and chemistry teacher, Aberdeen
- 🇬🇧 Aberdeen, Scotland, United Kingdom
- Holy Cross Technical College
- 1980 to 2000
- English, Bengali
I came to teaching late, after working as a waiter, and 20 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Over the years I had 1,060 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
More about Mr. Karim
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
What gifts mean to Mr. Karim: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
