Mr. Karanja
Teacher at Kinondoni Primary School, loves art
- 🇹🇿 Kinondoni, Dar es Salaam, Tanzania
- Since 1982
- English, Swahili
For 44 years I have been the art teacher at Kinondoni Primary School. I teach Year 9 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Over the years I've had 1,980 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Mr. Karanja
If you were in my Year 9 class, you probably remember the volcano experiment that got a bit out of hand.

What gifts mean to Mr. Karanja: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.

You taught me art in 2015 at Kinondoni Primary School. I still remember the day we all got the giggles in assembly
