Mr. Karanja

Taught economics at Nairobi Technical College

  • 🇰🇪 Nairobi, Nairobi, Kenya
  • Nairobi Technical College
  • 2006 to 2023
  • English, Swahili
I came to teaching late, after working as a shop assistant, and 17 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else. Outside the classroom I bake for the whole street at New Year. Inside it, I wrote a short note to every student at the end of term.

More about Mr. Karanja

If you were in my Grade 6 class, you probably remember the volcano experiment that got a bit out of hand.
What gifts mean to Mr. Karanja: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.

You taught me economics in 2009 at Nairobi Technical College. I still remember the long bus ride home.

I was in your Grade 6 class in 2014. You believed I could do it before I did. Greetings from Geelong.
