For 46 years I have been the mathematics teacher at Kadıköy Boys' School. I teach Year 7 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
I've coached the school's athletics team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Mr. Karakaya
If you were in my Year 7 class, you probably remember the morning the power went out and we had class in the yard.

What gifts mean to Mr. Karakaya: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
