Mr. Karakaya
Retired geography teacher from Ankara High School
- 🇹🇷 Ankara, Ankara, Türkiye
- Ankara High School
- 2005 to 2025
- English, Turkish
I came to teaching late, after working as a bank clerk, and 20 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Over the years I had 840 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
What gifts mean to Mr. Karakaya: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.

You taught me geography in 2024 at Ankara High School. I still remember the morning the power went out and we had class in the yard Truly.

A small gift is a big thank-you.
