Mr. Kara
Retired physical education teacher from Redwood Middle School
- 🇹🇷 Istanbul, Istanbul, Türkiye
- Redwood Middle School
- 1992 to 2015
- English, French
I taught physical education at Redwood Middle School in Istanbul from 1992 to 2015. Most days I taught Grade 8, and I never turned anyone away.
I ran the running club after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I sing in a choir.
I'm still learning every day.
More about Mr. Kara
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Mr. Kara: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
