For 28 years I have been the religious studies teacher at İzmir Technical College. I teach the youngest children and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
I've run the choir after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I volunteer at the food bank on Saturdays.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
More about Mr. Kaplan
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
