Mr. Kaneko

Retired history teacher from Gateway Public School

  • 🇯🇵 Shinjuku, Tokyo, Japan
  • 1983 to 2008
  • English, Japanese
For 25 years I was the history teacher at Gateway Public School. I taught teenagers and a few brave older students who wanted extra help. I coached the school's netball team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.

More about Mr. Kaneko

The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
