Mr. Kaneko
Chemistry and computer science teacher, Shinjuku
- 🇯🇵 Shinjuku, Tokyo, Japan
- Silverlake Boys' School
- Since 1978
- Japanese
I came to teaching late, after working as a postal worker, and 48 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
I've run the art club after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I garden badly but happily.
I'm still learning every day.
More about Mr. Kaneko
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Mr. Kaneko: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.

You probably don't remember me, I sat by the window in 1985. I remember you. Greetings from Lalitpur.
