Mr. Kalu
21 years teaching art in Benin City
- 🇳🇬 Benin City, Edo, Nigeria
- Gateway Grammar School
- Since 1998

I teach art at Gateway Grammar School in Benin City since 1998. Most days I teach the final-year class, and I write a short note to every student at the end of term.
Over the years I've had 760 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
More about Mr. Kalu
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the coast, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
