Mr. Kahsay
32 years teaching social studies in Addis Ababa
- 🇪🇹 Addis Ababa, Addis Ababa, Ethiopia
- Addis Ababa High School
- Since 2009
- English, Amharic
I teach social studies at Addis Ababa High School in Addis Ababa since 2009. Most days I teach primary school children, and my door is open at lunch.
Over the years I've had 360 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Mr. Kahsay
If you were in my primary school children class, you probably remember the morning the power went out and we had class in the yard.

What gifts mean to Mr. Kahsay: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
