I taught design and technology at Mount Pleasant Public School in Suwon from 1988 to 2017. Most days I taught the final-year class, and I kept a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
Over the years I had 840 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
