For 27 years I have been the home economics teacher at Santa Fe Technical College. I teach primary school children and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Outside the classroom I watch every football match going. Inside it, I keep a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.

What gifts mean to Mr. Juarez: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
