For 28 years I have been the social studies teacher at Joliet Academy. I teach primary school children and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
I've run the reading group after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I garden badly but happily.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Mr. Joyner
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the capital, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

What gifts mean to Mr. Joyner: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
