For 16 years I have been the English literature teacher at Albany Middle School. I teach the youngest children and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Outside the classroom I walk the dog by the river. Inside it, I always have a bag of oranges in my drawer.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
