I teach physical education and statistics at Lowell Technical College, Lowell. I keep a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
Over the years I've had 460 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Mr. Johnson
Teaching changed me more than I changed anyone, I think.

What gifts mean to Mr. Johnson: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
