I taught French and chemistry at Northside Middle School, Stockholm. I kept a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
Over the years I had 220 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Mr. Johansson
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the old fort, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
What gifts mean to Mr. Johansson: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
