For 37 years I have been the home economics teacher at Liberty Girls' School. I teach Grade 6 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Over the years I've had 1,520 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.

Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the science museum, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
