For twelve years I was the mathematics teacher at Daegu Primary School. I taught the final-year class and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Outside the classroom I garden badly but happily. Inside it, I kept a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
More about Mr. Jeon
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
