Mr. Jenkins
French and English literature teacher, Houston
- 🇺🇸 Houston, Texas, United States
- Good Shepherd Secondary School
- Since 2009
- English
I came to teaching late, after working as a shop assistant, and 17 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
I've coached the school's football team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Mr. Jenkins
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

I was in your first-year students class in 2021. You believed I could do it before I did Greetings from Addis Ababa.

You taught me French in 2019 at Good Shepherd Secondary School. I still remember the last day before the summer holidays. Thank you again.
