I taught special education at Hillcrest Boys' School in Los Angeles from 2006 to 2018. Most days I taught Grade 8, and I kept a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
Outside the classroom I paint watercolors of whatever is outside the window. Inside it, I kept a jar of spare pencils on my desk.

You taught me special education in 2017 at Hillcrest Boys' School. I still remember the long bus ride home.
