I teach home economics at Mount Pleasant Grammar School in Colombo since 1998. Most days I teach Grade 4, and I answer every email, even at midnight.
Over the years I've had 670 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
More about Mr. Jayawardena
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the capital, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
