Mr. Jayasuriya
33 years teaching economics in Colombo
- 🇱🇰 Colombo, Western, Sri Lanka
- Colombo Technical College
- 1991 to 2021
- English, Sinhala
Colombo Technical College was my second home. I taught economics there from 1991 to 2021, mostly Year 10.
Over the years I had 1,560 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
I'm still learning every day.
More about Mr. Jayasuriya
Teaching changed me more than I changed anyone, I think.

You taught me economics in 2023 at Colombo Technical College. I still remember the day the fire alarm went off during the exam. Truly.
