Mr. Jayasuriya
Taught mathematics at Maple Ridge Secondary School
- 🇱🇰 Colombo, Western, Sri Lanka
- 1997 to 2013
- English, Sinhala
For 16 years I was the mathematics teacher at Maple Ridge Secondary School. I taught Year 7 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
I coached the school's netball team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Mr. Jayasuriya
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the old fort, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
