Mr. Jacobs
Retired chemistry teacher from Los Angeles Secondary School
- 🇺🇸 Los Angeles, California, United States
- Los Angeles Secondary School
- 2003 to 2013
- English
I taught chemistry at Los Angeles Secondary School in Los Angeles from 2003 to 2013. Most days I taught Year 9, and I never once raised my voice.
Over the years I had 450 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Mr. Jacobs
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
What gifts mean to Mr. Jacobs: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
