Mr. Iyer
English literature and history teacher, Salem
- 🇮🇳 Salem, Tamil Nadu, India
- Salem Academy
- Since 1978
- English, Tamil
For 48 years I have been the English literature teacher at Salem Academy. I teach Grade 11 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Over the years I've had 1,440 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
If we met, say hello. I'd love to know how life turned out.
More about Mr. Iyer
Teaching changed me more than I changed anyone, I think.

I was in your Grade 11 class in 1987. You believed I could do it before I did. Truly.

you taught me English literature in 2016 at Salem Academy. I still remember the volcano experiment that got a bit out of hand
