Mr. Iyengar
Religious studies and early years teacher, Mumbai
- 🇮🇳 Mumbai, Maharashtra, India
- Cedar Grove Public School
- 1979 to 1991
- English, Kannada
I taught religious studies at Cedar Grove Public School in Mumbai from 1979 to 1991. Most days I taught first-year students, and I stayed late on Thursdays for anyone who needed it.
I ran the art club after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I sing in a choir.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Mr. Iyengar
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Mr. Iyengar: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
