Mr. Iyengar
32 years teaching art in Surat
- 🇮🇳 Surat, Gujarat, India
- Highland High School
- Since 1989

I teach art at Highland High School in Surat since 1989. Most days I teach Grade 8, and I learn every name in the first week.
I've coached the school's basketball team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
More about Mr. Iyengar
Teaching changed me more than I changed anyone, I think.
What gifts mean to Mr. Iyengar: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.

You taught me art in 2007 at Highland High School. I still remember that terrible school play. Greetings from Dar es Salaam.

You taught me art in 2011 at Highland High School. I still remember the morning the power went out and we had class in the yard.
