Mr. Ito

Retired English literature teacher from Fairview Middle School

  • 🇯🇵 Nagoya, Aichi, Japan
  • Fairview Middle School
  • 1986 to 2005
  • Japanese
I taught English literature at Fairview Middle School in Nagoya from 1986 to 2005. Most days I taught first-year students, and I never once raised my voice. My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits.

More about Mr. Ito

The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
