Mr. Ito

Retired social studies teacher from Sakura Public School

  • 🇯🇵 Fukuoka, Fukuoka, Japan
  • 2017 to 2025
  • Japanese
For eight years I was the social studies teacher at Sakura Public School. I taught Grade 11 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help. Outside the classroom I run most mornings. Inside it, I wrote a short note to every student at the end of term. If we met, say hello. I'd love to know how life turned out.

More about Mr. Ito

Teaching changed me more than I changed anyone, I think.

What gifts mean to Mr. Ito: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.

You taught me social studies in 2023 at Sakura Public School. I still remember the day the fire alarm went off during the exam

I'm a engineer now and I honestly think it started in your classroom. Greetings from Pasig.
