Mr. Ismail
Art and agriculture teacher, Mississauga
- 🇨🇦 Mississauga, Ontario, Canada
- Mississauga Technical College
- 1993 to 2022
- English, Arabic
I taught art at Mississauga Technical College in Mississauga from 1993 to 2022. Most days I taught the final-year class, and I kept a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
Over the years I had 1,310 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
More about Mr. Ismail
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the planetarium, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

What gifts mean to Mr. Ismail: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
