Mr. Islam
Chemistry and geography teacher, Pune
- 🇮🇳 Pune, Maharashtra, India
- 2010 to 2025
- English
I came to teaching late, after working as a night-shift cleaner, and 15 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Over the years I had 570 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
I'm still learning every day.
What gifts mean to Mr. Islam: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.

You taught me chemistry in 2016 at Lincoln Grammar School. I still remember the morning the power went out and we had class in the yard.

you taught me chemistry in 2017 at Lincoln Grammar School. I still remember the volcano experiment that got a bit out of hand.
