Mr. Islam

Biology and physical education teacher, Mumbai

🇮🇳 Mumbai, Maharashtra, India
Bamboo Academy
1983 to 1998
English

I taught biology at Bamboo Academy in Mumbai from 1983 to 1998. Most days I taught Grade 4, and I never turned anyone away. I coached the school's volleyball team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.

More about Mr. Islam

The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Mr. Islam: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
