I teach chemistry and social studies at Good Shepherd Secondary School, Tokyo. I play music while people worked.
Over the years I've had 820 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.

What gifts mean to Mr. Ishida: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
