Mr. Igwe
Teacher at Onitsha Academy, loves chemistry
- 🇳🇬 Onitsha, Anambra, Nigeria
- Since 2017
- English, Igbo, Spanish
I came to teaching late, after working as a clerk, and nine years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Outside the classroom I volunteer at the food bank on Saturdays. Inside it, I never turn anyone away.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Mr. Igwe
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the farm, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
What gifts mean to Mr. Igwe: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
