For 36 years I was the mathematics teacher at Onitsha Primary School. I taught Grade 4 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Over the years I had 1,120 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
