I taught mathematics at Hialeah Middle School in Hialeah from 1978 to 1999. Most days I taught Year 7, and I never once raised my voice.
Over the years I had 1,110 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
More about Mr. Ibarra
Teaching changed me more than I changed anyone, I think.

What gifts mean to Mr. Ibarra: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
