I teach special education at Haarlem High School in Haarlem since 1979. Most days I teach Year 9, and I play music while people worked.
Over the years I've had 1,320 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Mr. Huisman
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the national park, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
