Mr. Hughes
Computer science and environmental science teacher, San Francisco

- Victory High School
- 2003 to 2018

For 15 years I was the computer science teacher at Victory High School. I taught Year 10 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Over the years I had 650 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Mr. Hughes
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Mr. Hughes: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
