For 26 years I was the early years teacher at Victory Public School. I taught Grade 4 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Outside the classroom I bake for the whole street at New Year. Inside it, I wrote a short note to every student at the end of term.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
