Mr. Hoffman
Home economics teacher at Ashford Middle School, Since 2018
- 🇨🇦 Calgary, Alberta, Canada
- Ashford Middle School
- Since 2018
- English
I came to teaching late, after working as a nurse, and eight years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Outside the classroom I paint watercolors of whatever is outside the window. Inside it, I write a short note to every student at the end of term.
More about Mr. Hoffman
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

You taught me home economics in 2022 at Ashford Middle School. I still remember the cold winter when we all kept our coats on. Truly.
