Mr. Hoang

Early years and art teacher, Hồ Chí Minh City

🇻🇳 Hồ Chí Minh City, Hồ Chí Minh City, Vietnam
Hồ Chí Minh City Boys' School
2007 to 2015
English, Vietnamese

I came to teaching late, after working as a mechanic, and eight years later I still can't imagine doing anything else. Over the years I had 330 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.

More about Mr. Hoang

The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Mr. Hoang: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
